SO here is another one of those oldie but goldie recipes…revamped for Thermomix and delicious in every way….none of that low fat stuff here guys! Designed for chocoholics and great in winter. (And just for the record, today was one of the coldest winter days in Perth for quite a while and so I am stacking on my winter pounds for hibernation!)
NEED:
160g unsalted butter
160g caster sugar
100g dark choc melted and cooled
2 eggs
150g plain cake flour
25g Valrhona cocoa powder
1 tsp baking soda
120g milk
SAUCE:
50g unsalted butter chopped
12og dark chocolate, chopped
60g cream
1 tsp vanilla bean paste
1 pinch sea salt
DO:
Preheat oven to 180ºC and lightly grease 8-10 ramekins.
Place sugar into Thermomix bowl and mill for 10 sec/speed 10.
Add butter and beat for 10 sec/speed 5.
Add melted chocolate, and blend for 10 sec/speed 5.
Add all remaining ingredients and blend for a further 15 sec/speed 5.
Half fill ramekins and bake for 15-20 minutes until almost set in the centre.
To make sauce, combine all ingredients in a small saucepan and stir over low heat (induction 2) until butter and chocolate have completely melted. Pour over hot puddings and serve with cream.
