NEED:
Dumplings;
270g SR flour
120g butter
zest 1 or 2 lemons
pinch salt
110g caster sugar
100g milk
Sauce;
200g lemon juice
200g boiling water
220g sugar
DO:
Make dumplings by placing all ingredients except milk into mixing bowl and blending for 5 sec/speed 6.
Add milk and blend for a further 5 sec/speed 6.
Form into small balls, (size of a large walnut) and place into large ceramic dish.
Set aside.
Make sauce by placing all ingredients into mixing bowl and blending for 5 sec/speed 6.
Pour over the top of dumplings and process in Combi steam oven for 35 minutes.
SERVE:
Immediately with whipped cream, custard or ice cream.
