The time has come to make yourselves known. Although it sounds a little paranoid, or possibly vain, I have put some thought into leaving this blog up as a recipe resource, but not adding to it…yes, deserting my blog for other pastimes! (NO, not dessert-ing…deserting…as in running away!) I am extremely busy in my job, my family and due to shrieks of silence, feel unloved, underappreciated and generally find myself wondering if Anyone cares!! hahahaha. So if you are Anyone and you care…please send me a message (click on Comments , then Submit Query, below) and perhaps I can re-evaluate the amount of recipes I post. Thanks to all who do comment and I trust I will now be flooded with complimentary, head swelling, superlatives about my wonderful site!

I care and would be disappointed if you stopped posting!
You poor poor girl, of course you know there are lots of us out there watching everything you do and loving it. Now chin up, the show must go on. When the going gets tough, the tough get cooking. (And by God I agree, it’s hard to blog when you are busy)
High Tenina,I was thrilled to find your sight as I am a knew Thermomix owner and training to be a consultant and searched the internet for easy thermomix recipies, not really computor savvy, still learning,so not used to this bloggy what’s it thing. But I love your recipies, and look forward to your news letters, and the fun way of your humorous writing always smiling after reading them.Love the humour.Been telling all my thermo friends to read your blog and anyone else who will listen, would miss them if you decide to stop but have heaps of fun what ever you decide.Fantastic job!
I am not a great cook but I like to read the receipes of those who love to cook with passion. Reading the receipes is healthy for me. My husband hates flavors so this is a way to get my calories. You would be missed.
Keep at it Teen! You’ve got soooo many great recipe ideas that it would be a shame not to keep sharing them.
i love reading your TM recipes….im hoping to shortly start doing the training and becoming a demonstrator so anything i can learn from the ‘pros’ like yourself is such a great help!
Well I feel a little loved! hahaha. Thanks to all, and after thinking about it today and talking to a few clients, (and of course after glowing feedback such as you read above!) I will stick to it, but on a lesser scale. I will endeavour to put up a minimum of 1 post a week…1 awesome recipe a week…that should do right? Thanks folks and keep those comments coming.
Tenina, I would be sad to see you go too. I check this site regularly to see what new treat you have put up for us. I have a Thermomix and love it muchly and am always looking for new ways to use it!
You sometimes wonder when you have a blog whether anybody really cares if you post or not.
).
I have almost abandoned mine because I only started it as a resource for fellow users (of the TMX
I don’t have any real need for a blog now with the forum, but I will keep it going.
You should keep it going even just if it is a post a week or two. You would be surprised how many people actually look but don’t respond. I don’t care if nobody responds now as I had one reposnse that made a HUGE difference.
Keep up the cooking, cleaning, rushing to work, creating new recipes, helping sort out TMX Oz, running around doing the shopping, rushing home to make dinner, cleaning again and then relax and do some blogging. It is appreciated.

Tenina,
Please don’t leave us–I don’t comment, but I do check out your site on a regular basis. I have gotten some wonderful recipes and have checked out and subscribed to many of the sites you have recommended. The converteron your site is wonderful–as I am not real familiar with the metric system (you know us Americans!!!) I am curious about the Thermomix that you speak of (and work for) is it like my Kitchen AId mixer? Until I reconnected with you and started looking at and referring to your site, I had never heard of Thermomix or steam oven cooking. Your site is great, and I for one truly appreciate all the hard work and time you put into it!!! Keep it up (please?!?!?!) Jen from Pennsylvania, USA
Hello Tenina, I would like to say that I would be very sorry to see this website closed and was very happy to read that you have decided to post once a week. I will make sure to pass by regularily and comment everytime I come. I am sure that life is busy – I have seen your post on the thermomix forum and you even volunteered to test recipes for users, etc.
I belive in taking one step at a time.
Hope all works out for you.

Oh no no no young lady, you’re not going anywhere! Keep up the blog, I know what a PITA it can be sometimes, esp when you’re feeling unloved. Keep your fingers in as many pies & pastries as possible, honey. Jenxx
Thanks to all, and most of all Jen, who called me ‘young lady’…I am not going anywhere, just checking my blogging pulse. Have a couple of great recipes to get to, so once again, thanks for all your support. I’m off to beat or whip or mix or something! (Sounds curious when you say it like that!)
I don’t know on how I stumbled upon this cooking blog., All I know is that I’d better check out the archives for a good read. Ha-ha! Just droppin’ to say hi!
Oh. You might want to check this out: http://www.technocooks.com for uhm…a different “menu.”
It’s the first time i’ve been here and yet your leaving?!! please don’t. im starting to like this site
Hi Tenina,
I think it’s unanimous, keep on blogging
Also do look into that new domain name, I really think it’d help you feel a bit more centred on who you’re writing for and why…
Keep up the great work.
Matt
Hey Tenina
Glad you’ve decided to keep on blogging! Hope you have fun whipping and beating… hopefully not your husband!
Love
Angie
ps-Sorry I couldn’t resist the husband comment, but I just had to say it when you typed, “I’m off to beat or whip or mix or something! (Sounds curious when you say it like that!)”. Please send him my apologies.
Bob-Keep coming back and do check out those archives.
Matt, thanks for the shot in the arm…and I am!!
Angie, always supportive…and I think ‘kinky’ would have been a better adjective!
My steam oven has just been installed. Now I want to start cooking. The question is – if a recipe says eg steam 15 mins – do you turn on the steam oven for 15 mins, or do you need to turn on for 15 mins plus 2 mins to warm up and 3 mins to cool down (ie total of 20 mins)? Please help
Hi Fatima, My recipes include warm up time in the steam oven and I should imagine most would be the same. Most steam ovens heat up pretty quickly. Let me know how it goes!
Hi Tenina!
I am writing so that you know that I looked at your site…I love it, and all of it looks absolutely delicious!!!
Wish I had one of those Thermal ovens. (I know, I’m sure I spelled it wrong!) And the knowledge to make the recipe amounts Americanized.
Great pics!!! It all loooks amazing!
Keep with it, you have a great talent, and I love reading your fun intorductions and so forth!
Love you!
Patti
I totally know how this feels! You just throw something out into cyber space and at first it’s totally ok if no one writes a comment, but after a serious amount of time and effort it is so nice just to get at least one comment so you know that you’re doing it for a reason. I totally get it, I love that you posted about it. I kinda just sit here keeping quiet about it. I stopped writing the recipes down because it took so much time and no one seemed to respond to that, so now it’s just a quick post and a picture. Easy!
Just saw this about going off air, a little late–and I’d also like to say noooo! I’ve never commented before because I’m one of those people who just DON’T (and our blog doesn’t take comments either) so–yeah, you get read and have a lovely site!
foodie kisses,
The Haphazard Gourmet Girl
