Superfood Crio Bru Instant icecream.
Happy New Year, Happy New You! (My personal theme, once I get past January 12th)
As we have all been sweltering down under all through Christmas, and as my daughters wedding is at the end of next week (YAY) I have to confess the blog is the last thing on my list….but...
Slow cooked Chunky Beef Chilli in the Thermomix
I love a good Mexican beef chilli….add some corn chips and more grated cheese than is really necessary, and I’m totally yours. I am a cheap date of course at the best...
Frozen Blueberry and Yoghurt Bites
In the feeble hope that the nice weather is here to stay (last weekend we turned our heater back on and had blankets strewn throughout the theatre room!!) I am willing summer here by prepping and eating summer style…so this is a salute to that. I’m not...
Thai Spicy Beef Curry
Simple in the extreme; this curry is amazing. I needed more beef in my diet…lots going on right now. (Seriously, you have NO idea!) I really needed to have something hot and spicy, and well, beefy. (Just ask my husband!)
I hope you are all proud owners of the new e-book that...
Almond Mounds…or Bounties with Almonds, or something!
Just love a little bounty bar…with an almond in it…and a healthy one? Even better. SO knock yourself up a few of these, and then sit back and enjoy guilt free. I think these are called Almond Mound bars in the USA, and we have them here in...
Slim Noodles, or Shiratake Noodles
I have a friend, a very slim friend, who works out twice a day most days, drinks Crio Bru like it is going out of style for its appetite supressant qualities, and always tells me I need to do a low carb Thermomix cookbook…(any takers on that idea??) AND no, my very...
Chorizo Crepes…bring on the fried egg!
I keep telling you all to make Umami…this recipe will work without it…but is doubly nice with it! (SO go ahead, make my Umami!!) It was a busy day, the boy (17 and 6 feet something or other) was hungry…I was tired, I had a few ingredients in the fridge,...
Chicken Vindaloo
I love curry…you may have noticed…I love spicy food; you may have noticed. I love chicken dishes; you may have noticed. So combine them all and I am in hog heaven…well…you know what I mean. Fragrant and amazing, don’t stop here, try this mixture with lamb, beef or (shhhh, dare...
Dutch Donuts with Orange Jelly
There is not much that can make me pass up a fresh, hot donut if offered…and this recipe from a friend of mine has been raising money for schools, sporting clubs, church organisations, from their kitchen to their whole township for years. They have been known to make...
Ugly, yet delicious….are you spinning a dinner lately?
No time to cook? Then this is for you. Steam some rice while you marinate the beef strips, and you are eating Fake Away in absolutely no time. (Good on you mum!) If you really want to fire up the wok, go ahead, this works just as well. Use a...

Always crazy about food since she fed the neighborhood kids that first mud pie, (seasoned with a good dash of vegemite, a childhood Aussie fave!!) she now has a tribe of her own that she happily feeds whenever she can get them to sit down long enough. Her culinary experience ranges from Bangers ‘N Mash in London long ago…(and far far away) to attempts at Chinese banquets for her University ‘roomies’ in the USA to more recent culinary holidays to Singapore and Vietnam and now several years as a food consultant, recipe developer/writer and food eater and dreamer. Obsession can be a wonderful thing!
Ever resourceful and always hungry, and now the proud owner of a Thermomix, she can whip up a delicious storm in minutes, given half a chance. It is on her blogs that she shares her passion for food and the perfect cooking of it!
Professionally she works to bring to two major Australian Appliance companies, the best use of said appliances in the form of recipes. Always up for a personal demonstration, plans are afoot for a cooking tour in 2009, so look out for a Thermomix class near you! She can now live without her microplane for the first time in a cooking lifetime, she still can’t live without her Thermomix and she certainly can’t live without her blog comments…so make her day and leave a note!
