Slow cooked Chunky Beef Chilli in the Thermomix
I have been asked a lot of detailed flavour questions regarding Crio Brü over the last little while, so whilst you can get a lot of info from the website itself, I thought I would make it clear and simple for you right here, based on flavour. If health...
Little egg garden…hop a long bunny!
I have been frantic, AND I have cut my finger, so suddenly my typing is all out of whack…Seriously…who knew such a little thing could create so many problems??
I have been meaning to do my own version of hot cross buns for ages…I mean basically there...
Chocolate Fruit and Nut Slice
I may be a little late for ‘Straya Day’, but if you have a few ingredients in the cupboard, you can whip this one up in no time and be lounging at the pool/beach/boat/barbie nibbling on these which are a little healthy after all!!
I am working on so many recipes...
Perfect Fudge, Scottish Tablet, Diabetic Coma….
The slab in all its glory!
This is a total new rewrite. Originally published in April 2009, I have had that much feedback varying from great to dreadful, that I thought I would nail it once and for all and get it back up here for all you mad Christmas...

Walnut Chocolate Thins
For me baking is just part of Christmas preparations and since blogging became part of my life (dare I say it) over 8 years ago, and as I was in need of a little choccie fix last week, these were perfect. Very easy. Will keep in the fridge, separated in layers by baking paper…wrap...
Chicken Liver Pate
If you have already purchased Merry Christmix; A collection of Festive recipes 2012 then you will know there is a smoked chicken pate in there. As delicious as it is, I have been asked frequently for a traditional liver pate recipe, so here it is. I do love a good pate on a homemade...
Festive Nut, Chocolate and Pretzel Mix
I have always been a sucker for the yin/yang, salty/sweet, snack at Christmas. I do remember as a child having nuts at Christmas as a treat. Now my life is one big edible treat….which actually is not a good thing for my waistline, but good for you, as I have...
Spiced Orange Cranberry Sauce
I am a traditionalist when it comes to Christmas dining. I put it down to too many Christmasses in the USA, and to me there is nothing better than sliced turkey, gravy and lots of cranberry sauce. I am happy to eat it any time of year and often host a Christmas in July...
Tuscan Sun in a Dip!!
Well, no entertaining Christmas occasion is complete without the obligatory plate of dip and crackers/chips…and this will knock your guests socks off, if they are wearing them. I am gifting you this early. I had been saving it for the N.E.W. book that is on it’s way next year...

Always crazy about food since she fed the neighborhood kids that first mud pie, (seasoned with a good dash of vegemite, a childhood Aussie fave!!) she now has a tribe of her own that she happily feeds whenever she can get them to sit down long enough. Her culinary experience ranges from Bangers ‘N Mash in London long ago…(and far far away) to attempts at Chinese banquets for her University ‘roomies’ in the USA to more recent culinary holidays to Singapore and Vietnam and now several years as a food consultant, recipe developer/writer and food eater and dreamer. Obsession can be a wonderful thing!
Ever resourceful and always hungry, and now the proud owner of a Thermomix, she can whip up a delicious storm in minutes, given half a chance. It is on her blogs that she shares her passion for food and the perfect cooking of it!
Professionally she works to bring to two major Australian Appliance companies, the best use of said appliances in the form of recipes. Always up for a personal demonstration, plans are afoot for a cooking tour in 2009, so look out for a Thermomix class near you! She can now live without her microplane for the first time in a cooking lifetime, she still can’t live without her Thermomix and she certainly can’t live without her blog comments…so make her day and leave a note!
