Chick Pea, Avocado and Lime Salad
I am trying to include more pulses in our diet; They are cheap, easy to cook if you think about it in advance and so good for you!
This salad happened on Mother’s Day, the day that I should not have been cooking, but any hoo, if I wanted to eat something yummola,...
Pink Lime-Ade
Well I am to be a grandmother in just a few weeks…not surprisingly this is both amazing and wonderful! I have decided however to be called ‘Grandy’ not Nanna, not Nan, not Grandma, not Granny. I have been told that this is not up to me, but I figure, a slap or two and the kid will...
Dried Chia Seed Cereal

Soy Marinated Pork Fillet with Quinoa Tabbouleh
Well yes, this is delicious…but then delicious is my mantra…why eat it, if it doesn’t blow you away? I love quinoa and have been finding so many ways to use it lately. On this occasion, I used black quinoa, but white would have looked more traditional...
Steamed Salmon Ravioli
As you may or may not know, I left Thermomix Australia waaaay back in July 2011. (Some people are still under the impression I am still the Recipe Developer there, but no, Independance Day, July 4th was my last day.) Naturally, other work beckoned and this is one the roles I took...
Beetroot Salad with Honeyed Walnuts
I have been wanting to make a Balsamic Reduction in thermomix since I first got mine over 4 years ago…but it took the wonderful Helene at SuperKitchenMachines to nudge me into action. I used raspberries as flavouring as this salad needed a little sourness. The honey...
Banana Breakfast Cookies with almonds and linseed
I am not a big breakfast eater…and we all know I start my day with Crio Bru these days as my breakfast of choice…but I do still have a hungry couple of boys, nay men in the house. Tired of always cleaning up massive cooked breakfast dishes as they...
Chicken, Fennel and Potato Bake
To call this a recipe is a bit of a stretch…it is one of those mere suggestions, and dare I say it? You could do this without the use of your Thermomix. It was one of those hot days we have been suffering through here in Perth and to throw something tasty into the oven...
Inca Berry Cinnamon Scroll Loaf
I discovered Inca berries at my local whole food supplier…and I am LOVING them…they are a tart little version of a raisin, sour, filled with little seeds, quite palatable on their own…and I discovered quite good for you…well, very good for you actually! I have...

Always crazy about food since she fed the neighborhood kids that first mud pie, (seasoned with a good dash of vegemite, a childhood Aussie fave!!) she now has a tribe of her own that she happily feeds whenever she can get them to sit down long enough. Her culinary experience ranges from Bangers ‘N Mash in London long ago…(and far far away) to attempts at Chinese banquets for her University ‘roomies’ in the USA to more recent culinary holidays to Singapore and Vietnam and now several years as a food consultant, recipe developer/writer and food eater and dreamer. Obsession can be a wonderful thing!
Ever resourceful and always hungry, and now the proud owner of a Thermomix, she can whip up a delicious storm in minutes, given half a chance. It is on her blogs that she shares her passion for food and the perfect cooking of it!
Professionally she works to bring to two major Australian Appliance companies, the best use of said appliances in the form of recipes. Always up for a personal demonstration, plans are afoot for a cooking tour in 2009, so look out for a Thermomix class near you! She can now live without her microplane for the first time in a cooking lifetime, she still can’t live without her Thermomix and she certainly can’t live without her blog comments…so make her day and leave a note!
