Morroccan Lamb Braise
I don’t want you being put off by the long list of ingredients on this one…just suck it up, print off the list (note Printer friendly version button now on each post…thank you Luke!) and go for it…you won’t regret it, really. It makes a LOT, so feel free to cut meat,...
Mexican Meatball Soup
Well I managed to make dinner, (and take a pic and write up the recipe!)…what a superstar! I am off to NSW tomorrow morning for 5 Celebrate and Bake classes using a thermomix…I had a final edit on my big book chock full of thermomix methods and recipes this morning plus...
Roasted Pumpkin, Garlic and Sage Soup with Lemon Parmesan Wafers
Are there too many soup recipes in the world?? Well not for me. It was rainy, dark and I hugged my couch in front of the heater for a great portion of the day…July revisited (unless you are northern hemisphere, in which case think November,...
Strawberry and Rhubarb Dessert Soup with Nougat Blossom Gelati
Well, the cooking class ‘Souper Bowl’ might come out to play one more time down in Mandurah if I can get my ducks in a row, but for now, it has gone to sleep until next Winter I think….so I thought I would be sharing and caring...
Sage Potato and Leek Soup
Well not sure about the rest of the country (globe) but Perth is freezing it’s knickers off this winter. It is SOUP time…I have been making it for Sunday lunch for years through the winter, and this past Sunday was no exception. I have some straggly sage still growing...
Tom Yum with Prawns
I have wanted to do this for ages. I absolutely love Tom Yum and always made it with a bought paste, until now! A bit of investigation, a little tweaking, and here we have it. The paste is a recipe in its own right and of course will keep for ages in an airtight jar in the fridge...
Licorice
Brown and black licorice
OK, feeling pretty happy with my little self just at the minute…wow, who knew? Liquorice is so easy! (with Thermomix that is!!)
I have been wanting to play around with this for a while, but never seem to have a moment when I am not cooking for someone else, testing...
Potato, Pecorino and Pepper Soup
Soup is probably my favourite thing to make in the Thermomix. We always were a big soup family, but now it is the most requested weekend lunch item! I really can never go back to canned soup. Tried and failed! There is something about putting in a few ingredients, adding...
Pumpkin, Bacon and Goats Cheese Soup
A perk from being a Dairy Judge (am I overdoing it yet?) is taking home your weight in prize winning cheese, ice cream and yoghurt! I brought home the most amazing ashed goats cheese from Ringwould Dairy. It didn’t travel well once removed from its packaging,...
Baconnaise!
Well rather than go shopping for all those bits and pieces one runs out of periodically, I decided to clean out the fridge and do a bit of home made pantry inventory…so on a busy Saturday I not only managed to navigate an early start at the dentist with two (yes two at once!) kids...
Tenina Hmmn, liking the sound of a licorice all sort jelly…great idea....

Always crazy about food since she fed the neighborhood kids that first mud pie, (seasoned with a good dash of vegemite, a childhood Aussie fave!!) she now has a tribe of her own that she happily feeds whenever she can get them to sit down long enough. Her culinary experience ranges from Bangers ‘N Mash in London long ago…(and far far away) to attempts at Chinese banquets for her University ‘roomies’ in the USA to more recent culinary holidays to Singapore and Vietnam and now several years as a food consultant, recipe developer/writer and food eater and dreamer. Obsession can be a wonderful thing!
Ever resourceful and always hungry, and now the proud owner of a Thermomix, she can whip up a delicious storm in minutes, given half a chance. It is on her blogs that she shares her passion for food and the perfect cooking of it!
Professionally she works to bring to two major Australian Appliance companies, the best use of said appliances in the form of recipes. Always up for a personal demonstration, plans are afoot for a cooking tour in 2009, so look out for a Thermomix class near you! She can now live without her microplane for the first time in a cooking lifetime, she still can’t live without her Thermomix and she certainly can’t live without her blog comments…so make her day and leave a note!
