Strawberry and Rhubarb Dessert Soup with Nougat Blossom Gelati
Well, the cooking class ‘Souper Bowl’ might come out to play one more time down in Mandurah if I can get my ducks in a row, but for now, it has gone to sleep until next Winter I think….so I thought I would be sharing and caring...
Avocado Farm
Avocado, Coconut and Lime ice cream
Some of my husband’s family live in Albany and so we visit that spot quite frequently. Over the years we have come to know of its little haunts and the best places to stay and eat of course. Although we mostly stay with the family, when all the...
Egg Nog Ice Cream
Egg Nog Fudge
It was bound to happen…I ran out of puff approximately somewhere between here and Zurich 40,000ft in the air.
I LOVED Zurich (and Lachen and Lucerne); Switzerland is truly the most beautiful place. To come home to reality, heat, the Thermomix recipe community launch,...
Mulberry and Almond Ice Cream
Mulberry and Almond Ice Cream with Mulberry Syrup
Its official…summer weather has snuck up on us here in Perth. My kids went out on the boat today and came home decidedly pinker than when they left…I on the other hand, preferred to stay on dry land and do what...
Kulfi
Having just finished a stint as a Perth Royal Show dairy judge, (I know right, how do you get a gig like that? Still smiling!) and having had the opportunity to taste some of the country’s best ice-cream, this seemed a natural progression. We actually gave a Kulfi pretty high marks in one...
Nurture the Kid in You...Cardamom Kisses!
Honey Cardamom Ice Cream
Dark Chocolate Cardamom Kiss
You know me, LOVE ice cream, particularly home made…and when there are about 4 ingredients…even better! (Well that’s if you don’t include the dipping ingredients.)
A little...
Maple Banana Coconut Fritters

Honey Pecan Ice Cream
Well you may have noticed a few changes around here…not least of which is the stunning new site which is still getting altered bit by bit by my very helpful nephew Luke! (Thank you) Of course, being the almost complete computer illiterate that I am, there may be more errors...
Scoop the pistachio's
I know I pretty well switch between a bread recipe and an ice-cream recipe lately, (as my hips can attest) but because I missed a whole month of our summer, I am feeling downright summery on this 35oC day (95oF)! That and the chance to play with my friends DeLonghi Ice Cream...
Lime Lemon Posset with Raspberry Mayo
Lime, Lemon Posset fresh from freezer
Inspired by my trip to New Zealand and the Wai Restaurant’s Executive chef and owner Martin James demo to all us Thermomix enthusiasts, I knew a Rasberry Mayonnaise could be done, and it was worth the effort…it was...

Always crazy about food since she fed the neighborhood kids that first mud pie, (seasoned with a good dash of vegemite, a childhood Aussie fave!!) she now has a tribe of her own that she happily feeds whenever she can get them to sit down long enough. Her culinary experience ranges from Bangers ‘N Mash in London long ago…(and far far away) to attempts at Chinese banquets for her University ‘roomies’ in the USA to more recent culinary holidays to Singapore and Vietnam and now several years as a food consultant, recipe developer/writer and food eater and dreamer. Obsession can be a wonderful thing!
Ever resourceful and always hungry, and now the proud owner of a Thermomix, she can whip up a delicious storm in minutes, given half a chance. It is on her blogs that she shares her passion for food and the perfect cooking of it!
Professionally she works to bring to two major Australian Appliance companies, the best use of said appliances in the form of recipes. Always up for a personal demonstration, plans are afoot for a cooking tour in 2009, so look out for a Thermomix class near you! She can now live without her microplane for the first time in a cooking lifetime, she still can’t live without her Thermomix and she certainly can’t live without her blog comments…so make her day and leave a note!
