Lemon, Ricotta Filled Baked Pancakes
A quickie and a goodie…it started as a dessert idea, but turned into breakfast one morning at my house when my son who is ALWAYS hungry, complained about the lack of breakfast foods that jumped out of the cupboard and into his mouth.
So, to protect myself from...
Frying Roti
Rolled Roti with honey
You know I need to knead…and as I am developing a ‘Thai Thai Again’ advanced cooking class, I have been playing around with breads and flatbreads that may or may not be eaten in Thailand. I have to say, in traditional Thai cuisine, you will not find a...
Chorizo Crepes…bring on the fried egg!
I keep telling you all to make Umami…this recipe will work without it…but is doubly nice with it! (SO go ahead, make my Umami!!) It was a busy day, the boy (17 and 6 feet something or other) was hungry…I was tired, I had a few ingredients in the fridge,...
Instagram pic Pasta with Salmon…not bad for an iPhone!
I just LOVE home made pasta, in fact, once you have made and eaten your own pasta, it makes the store bought variety a very ordinary experience. Pasta is so quick to make it in the Thermomix, that seriously, you should give it a go! (Today!) Plan...
Dutch Donuts with Orange Jelly
There is not much that can make me pass up a fresh, hot donut if offered…and this recipe from a friend of mine has been raising money for schools, sporting clubs, church organisations, from their kitchen to their whole township for years. They have been known to make...
Ugly, yet delicious….are you spinning a dinner lately?
No time to cook? Then this is for you. Steam some rice while you marinate the beef strips, and you are eating Fake Away in absolutely no time. (Good on you mum!) If you really want to fire up the wok, go ahead, this works just as well. Use a...

Quinoa and Chicken Salad with Orange Balsamic Dressing
Its no secret if you follow me at all that I just love fruit in a salad. I have been a bit busy (and I hope you know why!!) and so haven’t written up a recipe in a week or so. Today was scorching hot in Perth and salad was the only option. Quick,...
Chicken Mango and Noodle Salad
Perth has been having a mini heatwave…of sorts, and now it is all cloudy and threatening, but I do have the airconditioner in full swing. The first air conditioning day for the season in fact…here we go…summer is on its way!
So for a hot day, a quick and easy salad....

Always crazy about food since she fed the neighborhood kids that first mud pie, (seasoned with a good dash of vegemite, a childhood Aussie fave!!) she now has a tribe of her own that she happily feeds whenever she can get them to sit down long enough. Her culinary experience ranges from Bangers ‘N Mash in London long ago…(and far far away) to attempts at Chinese banquets for her University ‘roomies’ in the USA to more recent culinary holidays to Singapore and Vietnam and now several years as a food consultant, recipe developer/writer and food eater and dreamer. Obsession can be a wonderful thing!
Ever resourceful and always hungry, and now the proud owner of a Thermomix, she can whip up a delicious storm in minutes, given half a chance. It is on her blogs that she shares her passion for food and the perfect cooking of it!
Professionally she works to bring to two major Australian Appliance companies, the best use of said appliances in the form of recipes. Always up for a personal demonstration, plans are afoot for a cooking tour in 2009, so look out for a Thermomix class near you! She can now live without her microplane for the first time in a cooking lifetime, she still can’t live without her Thermomix and she certainly can’t live without her blog comments…so make her day and leave a note!
