Huevos Rancheros
This has absolutely no Thermomix involved…but I put this instagram pic up on Facebook and was subsequently inundated with requests for the recipe…so here it is. Totally delicious and totally easy, especially if you have the Kleenmaid Induction cooktop.
SO…picture this. Monday...
Little egg garden…hop a long bunny!
I have been frantic, AND I have cut my finger, so suddenly my typing is all out of whack…Seriously…who knew such a little thing could create so many problems??
I have been meaning to do my own version of hot cross buns for ages…I mean basically there...
Red Tamarillo Lemonade
I love Tamarillos…they cost more than they should…but my sister in law has a tree that is laden, and there is no better way than get a massive dose of vitamin C than by drinking these….and how appealing does this look??? Beautiful pic in my kitchen, overlooking my herb garden...
Sticky Pork Noodle Salad
This is one of the popular offerings in the sold out Thai Thai Again cooking classes we ran this year….and without a doubt one of our family faves. Fragrant, spicy, pretty easy…don’t be put off by the ingredients list…not bad at all really. Hit up your local Asian supermarket...
Thai Spicy Beef Curry
Simple in the extreme; this curry is amazing. I needed more beef in my diet…lots going on right now. (Seriously, you have NO idea!) I really needed to have something hot and spicy, and well, beefy. (Just ask my husband!)
I hope you are all proud owners of the new e-book that...
Slim Noodles, or Shiratake Noodles
I have a friend, a very slim friend, who works out twice a day most days, drinks Crio Bru like it is going out of style for its appetite supressant qualities, and always tells me I need to do a low carb Thermomix cookbook…(any takers on that idea??) AND no, my very...
Curried Coconut and Chicken Soup
Soup season is upon us (has been here for a while now in our house!) This soup was one of the recipes used in the recent crazy successful Thai Thai Again classes. We may do a couple more in Perth yet…so hang in there…you may get the chance to see the whole menu.
What...
Curried Red Lentil Soup
Desperation strikes. Home from long O/S trip, no time (or inclination to cook), needing to blog, lest you think I have deserted you, and this is a tasty and hot little soup that is easily made in either HMP, or Thermomix. Winter is upon us in Perth it would seem; I was in NYC...
Chick Pea, Avocado and Lime Salad
I am trying to include more pulses in our diet; They are cheap, easy to cook if you think about it in advance and so good for you!
This salad happened on Mother’s Day, the day that I should not have been cooking, but any hoo, if I wanted to eat something yummola,...
Pink Lime-Ade
Well I am to be a grandmother in just a few weeks…not surprisingly this is both amazing and wonderful! I have decided however to be called ‘Grandy’ not Nanna, not Nan, not Grandma, not Granny. I have been told that this is not up to me, but I figure, a slap or two and the kid will...

Always crazy about food since she fed the neighborhood kids that first mud pie, (seasoned with a good dash of vegemite, a childhood Aussie fave!!) she now has a tribe of her own that she happily feeds whenever she can get them to sit down long enough. Her culinary experience ranges from Bangers ‘N Mash in London long ago…(and far far away) to attempts at Chinese banquets for her University ‘roomies’ in the USA to more recent culinary holidays to Singapore and Vietnam and now several years as a food consultant, recipe developer/writer and food eater and dreamer. Obsession can be a wonderful thing!
Ever resourceful and always hungry, and now the proud owner of a Thermomix, she can whip up a delicious storm in minutes, given half a chance. It is on her blogs that she shares her passion for food and the perfect cooking of it!
Professionally she works to bring to two major Australian Appliance companies, the best use of said appliances in the form of recipes. Always up for a personal demonstration, plans are afoot for a cooking tour in 2009, so look out for a Thermomix class near you! She can now live without her microplane for the first time in a cooking lifetime, she still can’t live without her Thermomix and she certainly can’t live without her blog comments…so make her day and leave a note!
