- 1 vanilla bean BUY
- 100 Grams whole almonds
- 25 Grams golden caster sugar
- 100 Gram cold butter cubed BUY
- 150 Grams plain flour
- 1 egg yolk

Place vanilla bean and almonds onto lined baking tray and into a cold oven set to 200°C. Roast for 10 minutes exactly. Remove and cool.

Place into Thermomix bowl with sugar and mill 10 sec/speed 10.

Add remaining ingredients and blend 10 sec/speed 6.

Tip out onto floured bread mat and roll into a tight ball. Flatten slightly, wrap and rest in the fridge for at least 10 minutes.

Roll as use as recipe directs.
