Do

  1. Place milk and sugar (or honey) into TM bowl and cook 10 min/90ºC/speed 5. This is to dissolve the sugar at a lower heat.

  2. Cook 40 min/Varoma/speed 5/spatter guard. If you don't have a spatter guard, use the simmering basket or Varoma on top of lid to allow reduction with minimal mess. Add the pinch of salt and stir through 4 sec/speed 5.

  3. Pour into a hot sterilised jar, cool to room temperature and store in the fridge until use.

  4. To sterilise bottles or jars;

  5. Give your jars and lids a hot soapy wash and a good rinse or put them through the dishwasher.

  6. Put jars upright onto a baking tray, place tray into a the oven at 110°C for about 15 minutes or until jars are completely dry.

  7. To sterilise the lids, the best practice is to boil them for 5 minutes and place them on a cooling rack to air-dry.
