Crispy Bananas

Makes 8 Prep Time 20 minutes   Cook Time 6 minutes   Rated:

I used to make these back in the day when I couldn't fill the hungry kids up fast enough. The recipe originated from my husbands cousins husband, a chef, appropriately named Crispy. Thus, these are Crispy Bananas in more ways than one! They are a bit naughty and should only be eaten in small doses. Of course we didn't air fry them, traditional oven works just as well. They are super simple, the kids can make them with not much help. Call it a school holiday treat. The pastry parcels can be made fully in advance and frozen as is. Then cook straight from frozen. They may take slightly longer.
