Tenina.com's Fruity Pear Mince

Need

Zest 1 orange
750 Gram pears, peeled, cored and quartered
250 Gram sugar
100 Gram craisins
130 Gram currants
50 Gram glace ginger, chopped
60 Gram flaked almonds
Juice 1 lemon
Juice 1 orange
1 Teaspoon each ground cinnamon, cloves, nutmeg, cardamon
2 Tablespoon brandy (optional)

Do

Place orange zest into TM bowl and chop 10 sec/speed 7.
Add pears and sugar and chop 3 sec/speed 6.
Add remaining ingredients except brandy and cook 35 min/Varoma/Reverse/speed 1. Cool slightly, stir brandy through and set aside until ready to use.
Store in sterilised jars in the fridge until use.
