Tenina.com's Protein Hot Chocolate



  1. To make the cashew milk, place cashews and 2 cups of water in a bowl. Soak, covered for at least 4 hours. Strain, rinse and discard water.

  2. Place cashews into the Thermomix bowl with 2 cups of water. 2 min/speed 10. Add another 2 cups of water and all remaining ingredients. 2 min/speed 10. Set aside.

  3. To make the hot chocolate, place 120g of the cashew milk, chocolate, cocoa powder, peanut butter, maple syrup and salt into the Thermomix bowl and cook 3 min/50°C/speed 3.

  4. Add 240g of the cashew milk and warm 3 min/80°C/speed 4. Blend 1 min/speed 10.

  5. Pour Brew Choc into a mug, half way and top up with the hot chocolate. Drizzle with a little cashew milk for effect.

  6. This actually becomes quite solid and mousse like once cold and refrigerated. So....should you love a good healthy protein chocolate mousse, this may be your new fave!
