Happy New Year, Happy New You! (My personal theme, once I get past January 12th)
As we have all been sweltering down under all through Christmas, and as my daughters wedding is at the end of next week (YAY) I have to confess the blog is the last thing on my list….but getting my daily intake of Crio Brü is not. I need it, and whilst I am not opposed to drinking it as you would a coffee, in the tradtional manner, in spite of the heat, I have had to come up with some other ways of getting enough into my diet so that I feel it’s super effects. Namely; more energy, more focus, appetite supressant and no muscle cramps, (which I am prone to). If you have not read up on Crio Brü yet, please go and get an eye full here! It is the best thing since the moon landing and without it, I certainly could not keep up the frantic pace I lead. So apart from the usual iced Crio Brü, which I am quite a fan of, this cool down recipe is not only dessert, it gives me another hit! Enjoy. (And cool down…seriously)
- 50 g Crio Bru Crio Brü dry granules BUY
- 80 g macadamia nuts, raw
- 350 g banana slices, frozen
- 1 tsp Vanilla - Bean Paste Heilala vanilla bean paste BUY
- Pinch Pink Salt Flakes pink salt flakes BUY
- 1 avocado, medium
- 25 g pure maple syrup (optional)
Place Crio Brü into Thermo bowl and mill 30 sec/speed 10. Scrape down sides of bowl and add macadamias. Mill 10 sec/speed 10.
Add remaining ingredients and blend 30 sec/speed 6, bringing speed down to speed 4 as the blend starts to happen.
Scrape down sides of bowl and blend 5 sec/speed 4. Serve immediately or freeze. This will serve quite well after being frozen. Just place into fridge for 10 minutes prior to serving.
