The White Smoothie

Serves 2 Prep Time 4 minutes   Rated:

Congratulations, you have completed our Revive and Thrive smoothie challenge. We began on February 1st and if you are reading this after the fact, by all means go back and begin at the beginning and conduct your own revive and thrive 7 day challenge. It is not only good for you, but very pretty, enticing and delicious.

NO it's not ice cream, though an ice cream smoothie is absolutely OK in my book. However, this is as delicious as ice cream, but much better for you. The team liked this one a lot.

BENEFITS:

Cashews; contain heart-healthy unsaturated fats, potassium, and magnesium — all of which may help prevent heart disease.

Yoghurt is rich in nutrients and may boost your health when consumed regularly. It may help reduce the risk of some diseases, while also benefiting digestive health and weight control. Using your own homemade yoghurt will assure that you have live and active cultures in the yoghurt which is what you should be using for best health benefits.

Need

Do

1

Place all ingredients into the Thermomix bowl and blend 2 min/speed 8. Stop and scrape down the sides of the bowl and lid as necessary.

2

Serve with garnishes of your choice. (We piped the whipped coconut cream on top of our smoothie for effect, and it is pretty impressive!)

3

If you are using a Nutribullet, place all of the heavy items (frozen fruit etc) into the bottom (which then becomes the top once inserted onto the base) finishing up with the leafy items so they are down near the blades initially. Blend as long as needed to combine. Never more than 1 minute.
