Tenina.com's Bircher Muesli



  1. Place oats and orange juice into a non reactive bowl and add vanilla and pink salt flakes. Give it all a good stir, cover and refrigerate overnight.

  2. Grate the apple either in a Thermomix (4 sec/speed 5.) or using a traditional grater. You need the skin and seeds, entire thing. Add to the oats mixture with the craisins, almonds, yoghurt, cream, cinnamon and give it all a good stir.

  3. When you are ready to serve, make sure you have all the toppings laid out so people can serve themselves.

  4. Serve in large bowls, but you really don't need a lot of the Bircher as much as you need loads of options for toppings. I think this is the original breakfast bowl!
