Tenina.com's Cinnamon Apple Pastries

  1. Preheat oven to 180°C. Line 2 oven trays with baking paper.

  2. To make cinnamon sugar, combine the cinnamon and sugar together in a small bowl.

  3. Cut your fruit into 1cm thick slices of choice, we did apple rings which were probably a little tricker than if you just wrapped a whole piece of fruit in pastry.

  4. Coat in cinnamon sugar, then wrap in puff pastry.

  5. Brush with egg wash then dip in cinnamon sugar again.

  6. Bake for 25 minutes or until you are happy the apples (or whatever) are cooked through.
