You really cannot have a Revive and Thrive smoothie challenge without a green smoothie getting in there somewhere, so here we are Day Three and green it is. Adding kale, one of the most nutrient dense foods on the planet to your diet is very easy and we love it in this smoothie. If you want to dramatically boost the amount of nutrients you take in, consider loading up on kale. (Go on, have another one!)
Avocados are rich in vitamins and minerals, as well as antioxidants, unsaturated fats, and fibre, which may help lower your risk of various chronic diseases and improve your health.
Hemp seeds are rich in healthy fats and essential fatty acids. They are also a great protein source and contain high amounts of vitamin E, phosphorus, potassium, sodium, magnesium, sulphur, calcium, iron and zinc.
Kiwi fruit have been used in traditional Chinese medicine for hundreds of years to support gut health and digestion.
Oranges are as nutritious as they are tasty. They are a good source of vitamin C, as well as several other vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants. Whole oranges are preferred to just the juice, and always fresh is best.

Need
- 1 Handful kale leaves, de-stalked
- 1/2 avocado
- 1 Tablespoon hemp seeds
- 2 kiwi fruit, peeled. Save a slice for garnish
- 1 Handful fresh mint
- 1 orange, juice only
- 1 Handful green grapes
- ice as required
- 100 Grams water
Do

Place all ingredients into the Thermomix. Blend 2 min/speed 8. Scrape bowl and lid as necessary.

Garnish with a slice of kiwi fruit.

If you are using a Nutribullet, place all of the heavy items (frozen fruit etc) into the bottom (which then becomes the top once inserted onto the base) finishing up with the leafy items so they are down near the blades initially. Blend as long as needed to combine. Never more than 1 minute.
