Kooky And Salty Cookies

by Tenina Holder

I can't help it...I love salt and sugar together and this recipe is born of that need. I love looking at little grains of salt on top of something I know will be sweet...pretty and delicious. The dried plums I used in this recipe can be replaced with craisins, raisins, apricots or any other dried fruit of choice...however, the obsessive compulsive in me requires me to tell you that the original is the best and go with the dried plums if at all possible! Salted Nutty Cookies

Great for school lunch boxes, as a morning treat with coffee, instead of breakfast, (did I say that?) or right after they are removed from the oven, before you bake the next batch! Enjoy!
