‘Slim’ Noodles With Miso, Mushrooms And Chilli

Serves 2 Prep Time 5 minutes   Cook Time 6 minutes   Rated: Print

Delicious quick noodles, lunch for one sorted. (And don’t over do it...there are consequences to everything!!)

Delicious, speedy, AND low carb? Is it possible? Apparently yes!

Go and read up a little on Konjac here, which is what the branded ‘slim pasta’ is made from; there are some possible side effects to over indulgence, (be warned) that may have you losing more weight than you intended as they are very high in fibre. BUT the good things about it are; low carb, gluten free, filling, zero calories, easy to prepare and delicious in that they take on any flavour you throw at them. Stick with one serving, don't eat more than your fair share, or you will be spending more than your fair share of time in the loo.

Available in Western Australia at the always stocked Weigh N Pay, you can also find them in supermarkets around the country, marketed as ‘Slim Pasta’. They come wet, in a ready to serve pack.

You can add any sort of veggies to this bowl of noodles, we also suggest serving it with our delicious Chilli Jam and Son in Law Eggs.
