Toad in the Hole

Makes 16-18 Prep Time 30 minutes   Cook Time 30 minutes   Rated:

I have so many variations of the Yorkshire batter recipe on here, but not really a good old fashioned Toad in the Hole.

I mean....

Chicken Sausage Toad in the Holders from Keeping it Simple, now only available as part of Insider Club.

Basic Crepe, Popover, Yorkshire Pudding Batter

Breakfast Yorkshires with Eggs and Bacon

Jam Popovers

to name a few. Go and have fun with this recipe kids. You will just love the huge rise you get out of these, with nothing but eggs and time as a raising agent.

Remember, hot hot fat. Hot hot oven and cold cold batter.

As my dad would say, 'That's lovely!'
