Revive & Thrive Smoothie Challenge

Revive & Thrive Smoothie Challenge

As each new year comes and goes most of us are looking for ways to improve our overall health and wellbeing. Up steps our Revive & Thrive Smoothie Challenge - 7 days of fun, colourful and good for you smoothie recipes.

They are all delicious and full of flavour, but not just yummy, they also packed with nutrients, antioxidants, and feel good ingredients with no sugar, gluten, dairy (unless you wish to add regular milk instead of our options.)
We know that fuelling your body is more important than losing weight, BUT the happy side effect of all this yummy goodness is potentially dropping a few inches off your waistline or elsewhere. (I am making no diet claims here, but keep us posted.) One thing for sure, you are going to feel great!

Even if you're busiest in the morning it's so quick and easy to throw the ingredients into your equipment of choice and whizz up. Cut your time down further by preparing the ingredients and quantities in a snaplock bag the night before. If your day doesn't go to plan you can feel refreshed, revived and ready to face whatever is thrown at you, knowing you've fuelled your body in the best possible way that morning. Revive and thrive with us this year.

My fifteen ways to better fuel your body and feel great throughout 2022 include the following;

  1. Add fruits and veggies to your meals (big tick with the challenge)
  2. Increase your protein intake if needed
  3. Avoid hidden sugars by making your own food from scratch
  4. Swap out inflammatory oils for butter, EVOO and coconut oil or cacao butter
  5. Read the ingredient list on anything you buy. What is that number?
  6. Avoid products where sugar or fructose or any 'ose' is high up on the list of ingredients
  7. Drink more water
  8. Snack on whole foods
  9. Move more
  10. Get quality sleep
  11. Get outside more often
  12. Use sunscreen on your face every day
  13. Upgrade your kitchen utensils and pots so you are using products without plastic to cook with
  14. Eat dark chocolate every day
  15. Join the Insider Club! hahaha
