Brandy Cream Sauce
Make a perfect, lump free brandy cream sauce for your Christmas pudding with no fuss, no standing and stirring, and in only 10 minutes. Winning!
Well this little stock staple should really appear on all your menus this Christmix. It is great over ice cream to be honest. If cold when poured (or glugged) it will set solid on vanilla ice cream and is seriously good. Of course you can put it on traditional Christmas pudding...or cake...both of which I have great recipes for in the Merry Christmix franchise.
AND in less time than it took to post this recipe, the lovely Catherine Schumacher has whipped up the custard and this very evocative Christmassy pic for the recipe. (I had asked for one, thinking it would take, well, at least a week, but she was snap happy and we are also now completely picture happy! Thanks Catherine.) By the way, if you ever think you have some boss food styling/photography skills that beat some of the tres average pics on here, feel free to do your thang and get me some great pics. I would LOVE that. Really.
Happy Mixing.
