If you are a licorice lover, you will definitely love this one...but naturally, if licorice is not your thing, you may find it hard to enjoy this pretty amazing dessert. Combined with the vanilla yoghurt, it is suprisingly mild and not as sweet as you may think. YOu could of course use your own home made licorice if you are a real queen in the kitchen, but I didn’t. Licorice ice cream would push this dessert over the edge into licorice heaven overload possibly, but I think vanilla would be better! Enjoy!
- 250 g soft eating licorice, in pieces
- 200 g water
- 1 tbsp Vanilla - Bean Paste vanilla bean paste BUY
- 100 g cream
- Vanilla yoghurt, whipped cream or ice cream to serve
Place licorice, water and vanilla into TM bowl and cook 10 min/80°C/speed 2.
Blend 2 min/speed 9. Scrape down sides of bowl and lid and add cream.
Blend 20 sec/speed 9.
Serve in small ornamental glasses on top of half a glass of vanilla yoghurt, or with whipped cream or vanilla ice cream to taste.
