Pizza Scone Scrolls

These Pizza Scone Scrolls are soft, cheesy, and swirled with all the flavours you’d expect from your favourite slice. Perfect for lunchboxes, after-school snacks, or weekend entertaining, they’re quick to whip up in the Thermomix and even quicker to disappear from the plate. You can customise them with your favourite pizza toppings, making them a versatile go-to recipe that the whole family will love.

Need
- 1 Batch Easy Soda Cream Scones dough Recipe
- 200 Grams cheeses of choice, we used parmesan and mozzarella
- 1 brown onion peeled and halved
- 3 cloves garlic
- 20 Grams Extra Virgin Olive Oil (EVOO) BUY
- 100 Grams speck bacon
- Enough Marinara Sauce to spread across the dough Recipe
- a few cherry tomatoes
- basil leaves to garnish

Make dough and set aside to rest. Preheat oven to 200°C and line a baking dish with paper.

Place cheeses into Thermomix bowl and mill 10 sec/speed 10. Remove from bowl and set aside.

Place onion, garlic and EVOO into Thermomix bowl and chop 3 sec/speed 4. Scrape down sides of bowl and sauté 5 min/Varoma/speed 1.

Add bacon and cook 5 min/Varoma/speed 1. Remove from bowl and cool.

Roll dough out to a 40cm x 30cm rectangle. Spread generously with Marinara Sauce to within 2 cm of each edge.

Top with the cooked bacon and onion mixture and half the grated cheese. Place a few cherry tomatoes across the dough as well.

Roll into a Swiss roll shape, cut across the roll and place cut side up into prepared dish in even rows.

Sprinkle with remaining cheese and bake 15-20 minutes until golden and cheese well melted. Serve hot.
