Need

  • lettuce, as much as will fit in Thermomix bowl
  • 1 Litre cold water

Do

1  

Core your lettuce and discard any straggly outer leaves.

Place it into the Thermomix bowl, break it up if needed to fit.

3  

Add water.

4  

Set your Thermomix to 30 sec/Interval/dough setting

5  

Drain lettuce in your Varoma dish, place lid on and shake out excess water.

6  

Voila! You just cleaned and chopped your lettuce.

We have been told this also works with leeks.
