Easy Buttermilk Dinner Rolls
Truly the most delicious recipe, courtesy of my American culinary roots. YUM. Don’t delay. You will just love these.
Easy. Fresh. Fluffy. Pass the butter and no one gets hurt. This amazing recipe has been in the family for ages now and we love them. Perfect for any dinner, but especially nice for special occasions when you need to impress without stress.

Need
- 2 Teaspoons dry active yeast
- 55 Grams filtered water
- 70 Grams raw caster sugar BUY
- 55 Grams butter BUY
- 220 Grams buttermilk or milk
- 1 Teaspoon pink salt flakes BUY
- 1 eggs
- 680 Grams bakers or strong flour
- Melted butter to brush rolls

Place yeast, water, sugar, butter and milk into Thermomix bowl and warm 1 min/37ºC/speed 2.

Add salt, egg and flour and mix 10 sec/speed 6.

Knead 2 min/dough setting.

Turn out onto floured Silpat Mat and bring dough together into tight ball. Wrap and prove until doubled. (Time on this will vary based on the time of year.)

Form into 24 rolls and place on paper lined tray. Brush with melted butter and allow to double again before baking on bread baking setting, in 180ºC oven for 12-15 minutes or until lightly golden. Brush with more butter if desired.
