Marzipan Stuffed Chocolate Figs
Delicious little stuffed figs, a perfect gift or just a decadent after dinner treat. Go make your own Marzipan for a real treat.
Marzipan-stuffed, chocolate-dipped figs are the perfect homemade Christmas gift, bringing a touch of elegance and indulgence to the festive season. Each fig is a little treasure, plump and juicy, filled with sweet almond marzipan or pistachio marzipan for that matter, that adds a creamy, nutty contrast. Once dipped in rich, velvety dark chocolate, they take on a glossy finish, making them look as luxurious as they taste.
These delightful treats are a thoughtful and delicious way to share the joy of the season—beautifully wrapped in a festive box or nestled in a gift bag tied with ribbon, they’re guaranteed to impress any recipient. The combination of flavors captures the warmth and sweetness of Christmas, making them a gift that’s sure to be savoured and remembered. Perfect for adding a personal touch to your holiday gift-giving, these figs are a small taste of festive magic that speaks from the heart.
After making these a couple of years in a row now, I am looking forward to trying the recipe with fresh figs, when those arrive on the scene mid to late January. So the pic may be updated again then...now they would look pretty!

Need
Do
- 1
Pull the stalks of the figs up out of the fig, so you have something to hold on to and they stand up pertly. (not going there, but you know what I mean!)
- 2
Cut a slit into the base of each fig and stuff with as much marzipan you can put in.
- 3
Melt chocolate for 5-6 min/40°C/speed 1. Scrape into small bowl.
- 4
Dip each fig into chocolate holding the stalk so you are effectively covering and sealing the base of the fig with chocolate. Place onto Silpat mat to set.
- 5
Redip if you wish. EAT! GIFT? REPEAT!
