Mocha Smoothie
It is time to rise and shine with this energising Mocha Smoothie. I do not drink coffee (because I choose the brews) but when Rubra Coffee came on board as an IC partner, who was I to turn down some lovely decaf, ready to brew? Of course they do a full range of coffees, all roasted and made here in the west. I have in fact been enjoying sugar free mocha by brewing the decaf and Brew Choc together. AH-mazing, but I digress.
I think if you can reduce the caffeine in your life it is a good thing. SO...this is an attempt to make a morning smoothie with a bit of a kick that will take you way past the morning munchies and right through to lunch. More of a meal, less of a caffeinated drink on an empty stomach. You can premake these in advance, they stay together really well because of the long blending time, and then just hit the road with an icy cold smoothie to get you to work on time.
It's important to make sure the brew is cold, and to be honest, if you added some brewed Brew Choc to the mix, it would be even healthier.
