Strawberries and Rice Cream Smoothie
Make on FrescoWell it doesn’t have to be strawberries....you can use this recipe with any fruit of choice. It is dairy free, gluten free, and very breakfasty! I do suggest you drink it fairly soon after making it as the rice milk will just get thicker and thicker over time.

Need
- 200 Grams brown rice
- 500 Grams water for steaming
- 500g + 100g cold water
- 250 Grams strawberries, frozen or fresh
- 2 Teaspoons vanilla bean paste BUY
- Pinches pink salt flakes BUY
- 50 Grams pure maple syrup

Place rice into simmering basket and rinse. Insert basket into Thermomix bowl and pour over 500g of steaming water.

Steam 30 min/100ºC/speed 4. Remove rice to cool and drain bowl.

Return cooled rice to the Thermomix bowl with 500g cold water.

Blend 2 min/speed 10.

Strain through nut milk bag and discard solids.

Return rice milk to the Thermomix bowl with all remaining ingredients including extra water.

Blend 30 sec/speed 10 or until you are happy with the texture. Chill completely before serving.
