Green Apple Lemonade
This recipe is very easy, has such a beautiful colour and with amazing tartness. You can of course substitute other apples, but it will not be quite the same. I love how quick and easy it is to have a refreshing summery drink with the Thermomix. I mean...a few seconds, some ice and you are there.

Need
- 150 Grams raw caster sugar BUY
- 6 whole limes, cut into eighths
- 3 green apples, cut into eighths
- 500 Grams water
- 1/2 Drop Hoppers green food colour (optional)
- Sparkling water and crushed ice, to dilute
Do

Place caster sugar, limes and apples into the Thermomix bowl and chop 4 seconds/speed 5.

Add 500 grams water and stir gently 20 seconds/speed 2.

Strain mixture through the simmering basket into a serving jug and add food colouring if using. Dilute with ice and sparkling water to taste.
