If you are partial to a salty sweet glass of granita, this is definitely going to be right up your alley and I am told (as a non-drinker) that it is completely refreshing and the perfect thing on a hot steamy night after you have been having a chilli eating competition. Trust me. I wouldn't lie to you. Enjoy.

Need

  • pink salt flakes BUY
  • 30 Grams caster sugar (optional)
  • 300 Grams ice cubes
  • 60 Grams Tequila
  • 30 Grams Triple Sec
  • 30 Grams lime juice, plus 1 additional lime
  • 2 Drops doTERRA Oils Lime Oil (optional) BUY
  • 1 Slice lime per glass for garnish

Pour pink salt flakes onto a plate. Cut 1 lime in half and rub around the rim of the glasses, then dip the glasses into the salt. Refrigerate glasses for at least 5 minutes.

If using sugar, place into Thermomix bowl and mill 10 sec/speed 10.

Add remaining ingredients (apart from sliced lime for garnish) into Thermomix bowl and blend 30 sec/speed 10. Immediately pour into chilled glasses and serve with slice of lime.
