This little method is literally an ingredient for the very glamorous Vanilla Thriller cake by Adriano Zumbo, starring more Heilala Vanilla than you can poke a stick at. So make this, store it and when you are ready to take on the world, you at least have this little ingredient sorted!

  • 100 Grams almonds blanched and toasted BUY
  • 2-3 Teaspoons almond oil



Place warm almonds and the oil into the Thermomix bowl and blend 30 sec/speed 6 or until a smooth paste forms.


Some almonds are more oily than others, so you may wish to only add the oil if needed to bring the paste together.


Store in the fridge in an airtight container until use.
