OK, so this is not your average recipe...and seriously...is it even a recipe? But I thought it worth including on this site as I often get asked how to do it, or with what quantities. So here you are lovelies...the easiest biscuit base around. It can be simply chilled and used for an unbaked cheesecake or tart or it can be baked for a baked version.

A no-bake biscuit base is the ultimate fuss-free foundation for cheesecakes, tarts, and pies. With just a few simple ingredients and no oven required, this buttery, crumbly crust comes together in minutes—perfect for when you need a quick and easy dessert. Need

  • 250-270 Grams basic biscuits (granitas, arrowroot, shortbread etc)
  • 125 Grams butter melted BUY

Do

1  

Place biscuits (or any other biscuit of choice) into the Thermomix bowl. Blitz 6 sec/speed 6.

Add melted butter and combine 6 sec/speed 4.

Press into large flan tin (23cm approx) with removable base or several smaller tins and either chill/freeze for 30 minutes or bake in fan-forced 160°C oven for 10 minutes.

Cool before proceeding with remainder of recipe as directed.
