Shaking Beef TM7
Thermomix 7 Vietnamese Shaking Beef (Bò Lúc Lắc) | Easy Stir-Fried Beef Recipe.
We are loving our little exploration of the options available with the features of the Thermomix 7. You can of course adapt these recipes to the other Thermomix versions, or in this case use a wok!
If you've ever travelled through Vietnam, you'll know that Bò Lúc Lắc, or Vietnamese Shaking Beef, is one of those unforgettable dishes that appears on almost every restaurant menu. Named for the way the beef is "shaken" in the pan while cooking, this iconic recipe delivers juicy, perfectly seared beef coated in a glossy, sweet-salty sauce with just the right amount of garlic and pepper.
The Thermomix 7 makes recreating this street-food favourite surprisingly easy. Using the browning function, you can achieve beautifully caramelised beef without standing over a hot wok. Serve it with steamed jasmine rice, crisp salad leaves and a squeeze of fresh lime for a restaurant-quality meal at home.
Serving Suggestions
For a complete Vietnamese feast, pair it with:
Fresh rice paper rolls with nuoc cham.
A crisp green papaya or cabbage salad.
Pickled carrot and daikon for a fresh, tangy contrast.
Stir-fried Asian greens such as bok choy or gai lan.
Finish with Vietnamese iced coffee or a refreshing lime soda.
