Our fantastic IC discount partner this month is Prana Chai, a Melbourne based chai maker whose fragrant chai mixes are just amazing. We couldn't help ourselves with this one. Poached chai apples, with or without the crumble are amazing. Try Chai!

We served it with our Honey Chai Ice Cream of course. What else? (Well Killer Vanilla would be awesome too!)

Do

1

Preheat oven to 180°C.

2

To poach the apples, place all ingredients into the Thermomix bowl and cook 12 min/100°C/Reverse/speed soft. Check that apples are cooked through.

3

Strain, reserving 100g of liquid. Rinse the apples to wash off any chai debris. Place apples and reserved liquid into baking dish. (Drink the remaining liquid, strained, as you would any other chai!)

4

To make the crumble, place all ingredients into the Thermomix bowl and combine 3 sec/speed 9 until mixture just comes together.

5

Cover the apples with the crumble mixture and bake for 20-25 minutes.
