Super simple pantry item that reduces what you have to have in your cupboard, go with whole almonds and you're done!

Someone on Facebook asked me for this recipe as I had done the live video but it had no recipe...I mean it is more of a suggestion or tip than a recipe amma right?

Need

  • 1 Litre water for boiling
  • 500 Grams almonds
  • cool water as needed

Do

Place water into the Thermomix bowl and bring to the boil 8 min/Varoma/speed 4.

Place almonds into simmering basket and insert into the hot water carefully using the spatula.

3  

Cook 1 min/Varoma/speed 4. Remove simmering basket and cool slightly by tipping into a bowl of cold water, before pressing the almonds out of their skins with your fingers.
