Chocolate Vodka

No Thermomix required. But you will be glad you figured this one out. Think Vanilla, on crack. Chocolate flavoured vodka can provide a hit to loads of things...in particular, the Chocolate Vodka Ice Cream Shake.

But don’t stop there, think about adding some sugar and making a chocolate vodka syrup for ice cream...yes. I insist.

Need

  • 100 g cacao nibs
  • 400 g vodka

Do

1  

Place the cacao nibs onto a baking paper lined tray and into a cold oven set to 160°C for 20 minutes.

Place roasted nibs into a glass jar and top with the vodka. Seal jar.

3  

Shake the jar every day and when the vodka is nice and chocolate in colour, strain out the solids and reserve the vodka until needed in a sterilized jar.
