Got leftover Christmas turkey and ham? Make this simple yet super tasty pate! Perfect for Boxing Day lunch, taking on picnics or when guests drop in.

Yep, it's that time of year again. Seriously? Where did 2018 go? I cannot believe we are in Christmas food mode again. This recipe has been around in the Merry Christmix franchise for some time now, but it is a goodie and uses leftovers! But don't wait for left overs before you make it, it would make a wonderful hostess gift. So get ready, put this on your list...here we go again!

Need

  • Handfuls chives
  • 200 Grams cold cooked turkey or chicken
  • 150 Grams ham, cubed or sliced
  • 250 Grams cream cheese
  • Drizzle of cream
  • Coloured peppercorns
  • 150 Grams Chicken Stock Powder (or water with 1 tsp chicken stock powder) Recipe
  • 1 Teaspoon flavourless gelatin

Place chives into Thermomix bowl and chop 4 sec/speed 6.

Add turkey, ham, cream cheese and cream and blend 30 sec/speed 7. Scrape down sides of bowl and repeat. Pour into serving bowl and smooth top. Press peppercorns into top.

Place stock and gelatine into clean and dry Thermomix bowl and warm 3 min/60ºC/speed 1.

Blend 10 sec/speed 6. Cool slightly before pouring on top of pate mixture.

Allow to set in fridge for at least a couple of hours before serving with crackers, cheese, olives and vegetables of choice.
