Cue the cheeseboard, slather it on burgers, use it as a dip. This very versatile pantry staple will be made by you multiple times. I am sure! Moreish.
Be patient! These golden brown onions are worth every second of the time they take to prepare! They can serve as the perfect base to pizza, tarts or flatbreads. Include them in other dishes to add a rich earthy depth of flavour. Or just lather it all over cheese, crackers, toast, sausages, burgers, eggs. Seriously the list is endless! YUMMO.
Store in airtight jar in the fridge until use. Will keep around 3 weeks.

- 1 clove garlic
- 500-600g red onions, peeled
- 50 Grams coconut sugar
- 50 Grams balsamic vinegar
- Good pinch pink salt flakes BUY
Do

Place garlic into Thermomix bowl and chop 3 sec/speed 5.

Slice the onions quite thickly, around ½ cm thick.

Add to Thermomix bowl with other ingredients.

Cook 30 min/Varoma/Reverse/speed 1/MC off.
