Steamed and Shredded Chicken
Make on FrescoShredded Chicken...just so simple! And less of a recipe, more of a method. To be used across all sorts of recipes. I have LOADS of uses for shredded or pulled chicken. It also freezes really well in portion sizes for easy thawing on demand. So if you are into batch cooking, get onto this straight away. I am amazed at how easily 2 chicken breasts can become enough shredded chicken to feed 4-6 adults...there's magic in that shredding somewhere!
Adding flavour in the form of liquid stock or aromatics rather than using straight water is also totally acceptable!
(If you wanted more chicken and you have a Thermomix 6, dispense with the simmering basket and use the blade cover. You can then probably add another 2 chicken breasts depending on the size used.)
Here are a few recipes to use that chooken with!
