Sticky Meatballs with Noodles
We love noodles...hope you do too, especially the homemade variety. This dish could be served with any egg noodles of your choice, or even use spaghetti if you are fresh out of bought or homemade Egg Noodles. No one will judge you!

The Meatballs
- 4 cloves garlic
- 20 Grams fresh ginger peeled and sliced
- 1 carrot, peeled and roughly chopped
- 25 Grams panko bread crumbs
- 1 eggs
- 1 Tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 Teaspoon ground cumin
- few grinds of black pepper
- 500 Grams beef mince
- Extra Virgin Olive Oil (EVOO) for frying BUY

Sticky Sauce
- 80 Grams soy sauce
- 70 Grams brown sugar
- 80 Grams hoisin
- 60 Grams water

The Rest
- 1 head of broccoli, cut into florets
- 440 Grams pack of fresh thin egg noodles
- 1 Tablespoon sesame seeds to garnish

To make the meatballs, place garlic, ginger and carrot into the Thermomix bowl. Chop 5 sec/speed 6. Add remaining ingredients, except mince. Combine 10 sec/speed 5.

Place mince in a large bowl. Pour the mixture on top and combine thoroughly by hand. Form into roughly 24 meatballs.

Heat a splash of EVOO in a wok over high heat. Add meatballs. Cook until well browned.

To make the sauce, place all ingredients into the Thermomix bowl. Mix 10 sec/speed 6.

Add sauce to wok, cook for 5 minutes. Add broccoli. Cook, covered for 10 minutes. Or until broccoli is just tender. Cook uncovered until sauce has reduced a little.

Cook egg noodles as per packet instructions.

Serve sticky meatballs over a bowl of noodles. Alternatively, toss noodles through meatballs and then plate up. Garnish with sesame seeds.
