You may or may not know my history with green smoothies. Back in the day, before man had walked on the moon and mason jars and green smoothies were a thing, I used to drink them...sort of. Eat them is probably more accurate. I don't like green smoothie mulch. (I'd venture as far as to say 'hate' but it's such a negative word!) I have a thing about it. But then, I also didn't own the blender to end all blenders.
My smoothie tips;
Blend, blend, blend. Minimum 2 minutes on high with a Thermomix or longer with a non Thermomix.
Make sure there is enough liquid to make it, well liquid. Choking on superfoods, is such a waste.
Don't compromise your smoothie flavour by using ice or water. Always use frozen fruit or a liquid that stands alone as having flavour, like milk, coconut milk, juice, coffee or brewed chocolate.

Need
- 2 Handfuls kale
- 400 Milliliters coconut milk Recipe
- 400 Grams pineapple, fresh or frozen, diced
- 200 Grams mango, fresh or frozen
- 1 guava, peeled and de-seeded (optional)
- 1 fresh lemon juice
- 5 cm Pieces fresh ginger
- 5cm Pieces fresh turmeric or 1 tsp ground
- 2 Drops doTERRA black pepper oil BUY
Do
- 1
Place all ingredients into the Thermomix bowl and blend 2 min/speed 10. Add water if needed. I suggest you use at least one of the fruits as frozen to make it cold and smooth!
