Brown Sugar Panna Cotta

These random ideas come to me in the night. I had just been to the movies (yay Wicked, something worth going to the movies for finally!) and had downed some caramel popcorn which I do love. 

I also had decided to create some new dessert recipes for Christmas as I do almost every Christmas and so...this happened. 

I think panna cotta could be one of my favourite desserts to make, to eat and to create. There are literally endless options.

Here is the ultimate combination of creamy indulgence and textural sweetness with this Brown Sugar Panna Cotta topped with Crunchy Honeycomb Popcorn. Made so easily with Thermomix, this dessert is a perfect centerpiece for gatherings or a luxurious treat to savour at home. The rich, velvety panna cotta is complemented by the crispy, golden honeycomb and caramel-coated popcorn, creating a blend of textures and flavours. Place milk, cream, sugar, yolks, vanilla and salt into the Thermomix bowl and cook 8 min/80°C/speed 4.

Place the gelatin into the warm water and stir to combine.

Add gelatin mixture to the Thermomix bowl and blend 20 sec/speed 4.

Divide mixture between dariole moulds or serving glasses as desired.

5  

Bring to room temperature before transferring to the fridge overnight or until set.

6  

Serve with plenty of Crunchy Honeycomb Popcorn on the side.
