I love making my own mustard. It has become a bit of a thing for me now, like flavoured butters or sugars or salts, it's a way of adding a punch of flavour to something quite ordinary with just a little bit of effort ahead of time. It is also very creative, which is how I cook of course.
This requires no Thermomix, you can just whip it up at a moments notice if you already have the mustard, and whilst I have specified my fave homemade recipe for mustard, you actually can use any mustard you choose.

- 2 Tablespoons Ancient Roman Mustard Recipe
- 80 Grams unsalted butter BUY
- 80 Grams honey BUY
- Pinches pink salt flakes to taste BUY

Place all ingredients into a small saucepan and place onto a medium heat. Allow to melt and combine without boiling. Taste and adjust seasoning as desired. Whisk a little just to combine

Drizzle over steamed veggies of choice.

You can pre make this and store it in a jar in the fridge then simply dollop a couple of spoonfuls onto the hot veggies as needed
