Mulled Immunity Booster

Sometimes you just need an immunity boost, winter, after a hard day’s night, after breakfast, before breakfast. Get it into you...better than mulled wine...almost. This recipe was always a hit at my Comfort Foods classes, hopefully it will hit the spot for you too!

(I didn’t really want to tell you this bit, given we are sharing an immunity boosting moment, but if you wanted to replace the pomegranate juice with red probably would also feel a little bit boosted!!)


  • 1 orange, zest and juice
  • 1 lemon, zest and juice
  • 1 bottle pomegranate juice (750ml)
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 4 cloves
  • 1 star anise
  • 10 g NutraOrganics Acai Berry Blend powder



Thinly peel the skin without the pith from the orange and lemon. Squeeze the orange and lemon.


Place all ingredients into TM bowl and cook 30 min/80°C/speed 1.


Allow flavours to infuse at least 10 minutes before straining and serving in small glasses.
