Self Saucing Chocolate Puddings

This is a pre Thermomix recipe and another one from Jayne in Canberra. Thanks Jayne.

Need

  • 30 g butter
  • 1/2 Cup caster sugar
  • 1/2 tsp Vanilla - Bean Paste vanilla bean paste BUY
  • 1 egg
  • 1 Cup SR flour
  • 2 tbsp cocoa powder
  • 1/2 tsp Pink Salt Flakes pink salt flakes BUY
  • 1/2 Cup milk
  • Sauce
  • 1/4 Cup sugar
  • 2 tbsp cocoa powder
  • 3/4 Cup hot water

Do

Cream butter with sugar and vanilla.

Add egg and beat until creamy.

Fold in sifted flour cocoa and salt alternately with the milk.

Pour into greased coffee cups, or one large baking dish. Do not fill up too much as they rise a lot.

To make sauce mix sugar and cocoa together and sprinkle liberally over the top of each pudding then pour hot water over the top.

Process in steam oven for 20 to 25 minutes.

More

Serve with whipped cream and icecream.
