Smokey Egg and Bacon Dip
Make on FrescoYou’re going to love this one. Apart from thinking about boiling the eggs, you really can whip this up in no time flat and could actually call it breakfast...if you tried hard.
It would be spectacular with some toast...with lots of butter. I put the word out on Facebook for dip ideas and this was the winner. I hope you enjoy it. Now...back to my list! (So many ideas, so little time!)

Need
- 2 Teaspoons smoked paprika
- 100 Grams speck or bacon
- seasoning to taste
- 4 eggs
- 1/2 Litre water
- 2 spring onions
- Handfuls herbs of choice
- 2 cloves garlic
- 200 Grams creme fraiche

Preheat oven to 160°C.
- 2
Place speck or bacon onto a lined baking tray and dust liberally with the paprika. Bake 30 minutes until very crisp. Cool.

Place eggs into simmering basket and insert into Thermomix bowl. Pour water over.

Steam eggs 15 min/100°C/speed 4. Remove from basket, drain bowl, cool and peel eggs.

Place spring onions, herbs and garlic into Thermomix bowl and chop 3 sec/speed 5.

Add peeled eggs, some of the bacon, in pieces and blend 10 sec/speed 8. (Reserve some for garnish.)

Scrape down sides of bowl. Add creme fraiche and blend 10 sec/speed 10

Garnish with remaining pieces of bacon and serve.
